Pennsylvania Issues Renewal of the Industrial Stormwater General Permit (PAG-03)
PADEP Updates PAG-03 General Permit
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) has recently updated and renewed the General Permit for Discharges of Stormwater Associated with Industrial Activity (PAG-03).
To maintain coverage under the new permit, existing PAG-03 permit holders are required to submit a Notice of Intent (NOI) package to the PADEP on or before March 23, 2023.
It is important to be aware that several of the terms and conditions of the renewed PAG-03 General Permit will be different from the current PAG-03. And prior to submitting the NOI for renewed coverage, facilities should review the permit and discuss the new sampling, monitoring and reporting requirements with their laboratory and/or consultant performing stormwater monitoring.
