Ohio EPA Issues Renewal of the Industrial Stormwater General Permit
Ohio EPA recently updated the Industrial Stormwater General Permit OHR000007 with an effective date of June 1, 2022. Facilities with existing coverage under the previous version of the permit (OHR000006), or new permittees, are required to submit a new Notice of Intent (NOI) application within 90 days of the effective date of the permit. To obtain or continue permit coverage under the new permit companies are required to submit a NOI for coverage and pay a $350.00 application fee.
Finally, permittees are required to updated their existing stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) to ensure compliance with the new general permit.
